Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of the text-to-speech studio at ttsloom.com. By using it you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use ttsloom. This is a draft that a lawyer has not reviewed yet.

What ttsloom is

ttsloom turns text you type into spoken audio, using third-party speech models: Google's Gemini text-to-speech models, reached through the KIE API service. ttsloom is an independent product. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Google, and Gemini is a trademark of Google LLC.

The audio is generated by AI. It can mispronounce words, mishandle numbers or names, or deliver a line differently than you expected. Listen to it before you publish it.

Using ttsloom

You can try ttsloom without an account, with tighter limits. You can also sign in with Google to get a monthly allowance of characters and higher limits. The current limits are shown on the homepage and may change.

If you sign in, you are responsible for what happens under your account. Please keep your access secure and tell us if you think someone else is using it.

Your text and the audio you create

You are responsible for the text you submit and for how you use the audio. Only submit text you own or have permission to use.

To generate audio, your text is sent to the speech providers named in our Privacy Policy. Please read it before you submit anything private.

You may use the audio you generate in your own projects, for example in videos, podcasts, games and courses, as long as you follow these terms and the rules of the platforms where you publish. Some platforms require AI-generated audio to be labelled as such, and that is your responsibility. We do not promise that the audio is unique, because similar text can produce similar audio.

We store generated audio for a limited time so you can play and download it. Download what you want to keep, because ttsloom is not a backup service.

What you must not do

You must not use ttsloom to:

• make audio that imitates or impersonates a real person, or makes it sound as if a real person said something, without that person's consent;
• deceive or defraud anyone, for example with scams, fake calls, fake endorsements or misleading content presented as real;
• create anything unlawful, or anything that harasses or threatens people or infringes someone else's rights;
• get around our limits or protections, for example by using automated tools to create accounts or requests, or by attacking or probing the service.

ttsloom does not offer voice cloning, and you must not try to use it to reproduce the voice of a specific real person.

If you break these rules we may refuse requests, remove stored audio, limit your access, or close your account.

Characters and payments

Each generation uses one character for every character of text that is spoken. If a generation fails, the characters reserved for it are returned.

Signed-in accounts get a monthly free allowance. You can also buy character packs. A pack is a one-time purchase: there is no subscription and no automatic renewal. Prices are shown before you pay. Payments are processed by Stripe, and we never see your card number.

If something went wrong with a purchase, contact us and we will look into it.

Service availability

ttsloom depends on third-party services, so it may be slow, change, or be unavailable at times. We provide it "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses.

Changes

We may update these terms. If we do, we will change the date at the bottom of the page. If you keep using ttsloom after a change, you accept the updated terms.
